If you are building a product, don’t do this.

Do not pay for ads

Stop thinking that one of your post will go viral and you will have 1000s of users overnight.

Instead do this.

Find your ideal customer from anywhere. They could be your friends, relatives, colleagues, or maybe someone from an online channel.

Talk to them, not just DM, but face to face or call.

Tell what you are building.

And let them talk about their problems. Just listen.

Now you know the real problems.

Ask them questions, but let them do the talk.

Do not ask if they will pay and how much.

Instead ask them, are they using any products, and are they paying for any or planning to use one.

If they are using, you got a winner. If they are planning, it’s still good.

If they are not using any, figure out what would make them pay, without asking them directly.

That’s how you build from scratch and grow by understanding the customer.

Not plan to go viral overnight and make millions.
