Short answer: Yes

AI can increase your productivity by 2-3x easily, but at the same time, it can make you 2-3x slower when it starts to loop and hallucinate.

I have been taking AI into consideration when estimating anything, although it works sometimes, it had made things worse in many places.

The more we start to use AI tool, the more we are forgetting the fact that AI isn't entirely mature yet.

One of the biggest issue that I am facing lately is that, I don't try to write code unless, I am stuck for hours cussing AI to give me the right snippet of code.

Worst part? I even started to copy error logs into copilot and asking it to fix it. So, basically my debugging skills are also at stake right now.

It is not easy to say, I will not use AI anymore until it's mature. Because, you are loosing opportunity to increase your productivity and one day you will be behind everyone else.
