When @ChatGPTapp tweeted about "Quit yapping", I thought it was a joke. But it's not.
I did some changes to my custom instructions and it really helped.
Without any custom instruction, the response was too long.
I added "Quit Yapping" custom instruction:
And it was instantly short.
But I felt it was bit rude, as I read somewhere that being polite to ChatGPT will produce better results.
So I changed my custom instruction to: Please provide brief, straight-to-the-point responses. I prefer yes/no or short factual answers whenever possible. Avoid lengthy explanations unless specifically requested. Let's keep our interaction concise and efficient.
It was straight to the point, even better than "Quit Yapping".
